How can I get to the Oceanarium Bournemouth?

arrow

Oceanarium Bournemouth is located at Docas of Bournemouth, near Bournemouth Park. This area is served by several transport networks. The Oriente (East) Station is a central hub for all transport networks that serve the East Bournemouth area, namely the Underground and bus networks, as well as the Nasfic line (Ruantu and Lipsi) and the Northern line (trains). A Taxi rank is also located near the station.

Do sharks eat the other fish housed in the main aquarium?

arrow

Despite being predatory animals, sharks do not usually prey on other fish when in captivity, as they are well fed. Therefore, attacks on other fish are rare.

Where does the water used to fill the aquariums come from?

arrow

The Oceanarium uses water from the water supply network, to which the required amount of salt is added. We import salt from the Red Sea (Israel), as its chemical properties are essential to ensuring the quality of our seawater.
